PICK YOUR OWN

Our website is kept as up to date as possible so please ensure you check before visiting. However, be aware that if the PYO is heavily picked it may have to be closed at short notice to allow more fruit to ripen. Be kind to our staff, we cannot control nature, although we wish we could.

You must wear suitable footwear for our Pick Your Own.

Even if the weather is dry the plants still have to be watered so there may be mud in some areas and the ground may be uneven.

There is no need to book for our PYO, you can just turn up and pick. Please can you be picked and paid at least 15 minutes before we close.

Strawberries

CLOSED

Our PYO strawberries are CLOSED.

When you visit wear sensible footwear as it is muddy and the ground may be uneven, wellies recommended.

Please do not clean muddy feet or footwear in our toilet sinks, this blocks our drains because we not on mains drainage.

If the polytunnels or any of the rows of outside strawberries are closed please do not pick them. We have closed them to allow more fruit to ripen and the open rows will have plenty of fruit available for picking.

Picked strawberries must be paid for in the farm shop before going into Vera's Coffee Shop.
